Using our team of expert thermal engineers we can analyse your application and thermal management requirements and design a custom solution within a matter of days. Using our advanced thermal modelling software we can analyse the expected efficiency of our design, giving you full confidence that it will meet your needs when manufactured.  Prototypes samples can then be machined, usually within a week or two, to enable you to test the solution for yourself.

To keep pace with the growing use of flat displays we have a new addition to our range of cable to board connectors. This new connector (QZAE series) has been developed to send digital video signals as defined in the “GV-IF” and “V-by-one” specifications for applications with flat panel displays and flat televisions. This high speed transmission specification has been designed primarily for automotive information and entertainment systems but it is also applicable to any other product using flat displays.

We are pleased to announce that we have expanded our range of Serial ATA (SATA) connectors and cable assemblies to include the new SATA formats of Slimline SATA and Micro SATA. Both connector types offer a smaller connector to the standard SATA range, designed for smaller product use.

The Slimline SATA connector consists of a 7 contact section, on a 1.27mm pitch, for signal transmission, as per the standard SATA signal connector, but the power section has been reduced to only 6 contacts, on a pitch of 1.0mm. This reduction in the number and pitch size of the power contacts effectively reduces the overall size of the connector by approx. 30%.
